HT2052 meter was designed o perform the Step/Contact voltage measurements in Automatic mode (with HT2051 power unit only) or Manual mode (with other power units) on electrical industrial plants typically closest to MV/LV transformers cabinets. Earth resistance measurements it's available also. In Automatic mode, with HT2051 unit, the Erbacher method is considered by meter and the test current can be applied in direct measure 1 (from circuit on test to auxiliary rod), reversed measure 2 (from circuit on test to auxiliary rod to circuit on test) and the 0 phase (no current applied). In this way the effect of noise voltages is extremely reduced respect the real measurement value. An internal serial printer is integrated inside HT2052 meter in order to directly print the measurement results. A RS-232 serial interface it's also available in order to connect the meter to a PC and downloading the saved results
