HT ITALIA presents new professional LANTEK family of meters designed to perform any verify test and certification of LAN networks in copper cables or optical fibre in CAT6 up to 350Mhz (HT5600 model), CAT6E up to 500MHz (HT5650 model) and the recently CAT7E up to 1GHz (HT5700B or HT5700P models).Those models, the more advanced of their category, using a innovative and patented channel adaptor system fit into the case of each unit and locked in place. This creates a stable and repeatable testing platform while eliminating bulky adapters that extend beyond the end of the unit. In the same time the Channel or Permanent link certification is always possible simply changing the standard patchcords without any other added adaptor to reach the lowest cost of ownership.Thanks to wide colour backlight display each indication is shortly reachable and the icon menus permits a very easy usage of meter. AUTOTEST feature permits to automatically performing every test depending on kind of cable which can be selected from the operator and the results are shown as in global mode (Pass or Fail test) or detailed mode with all measured values and graphics ones according to selected standard reference. The built-in TDR (Time Domain Reflectometer) feature performing a rapid and powerful diagnostic troubleshooting on test cables giving the kind of trouble more than the location of it's on cable.The advanced technology of this models permits also the DUALMode operation which permits to simultaneously conducting a combination of two test, for example in CAT5E and CAT6 on the same cable, with the same amount of time as a single test, so saving time and money. Test results can be saved both inside internal memory and inside Compact Flash memory which can fitted inside a slot available on Display Unit. This permits to extend the global memory and saving all possible result of test with graphics.On each models RS-232 serial port and USB standard port are available and this permits a simply interface with every kind of PC. Standard Windows software is designed to produce three different kinds of reports (Single Line, Brief or Detailed) based on the required level of detail. All models are supplied with rechargeable NiMH batteries or directly with AC/DC Adapter which also permits the chargeable of batteries up to 8 hours of normal operations.
HT5700B and HT5700P models respect other HT5600 and HT5650 ones can performing every kind of test according to ANSI/EIA/TIA 568 and ISO on all RJ45 copper twisted pairs cable up to CAT7 with frequency signal up to 1GHz and also performing test according to closest CAT7E. In this way an updated and complete meter is possible from any point of view. As HT5650, also HT5700x  models permits to performing test on 10GBASET Ethernet basic protocol of modern and future LAN and WAN networks. Test on Coaxial cable (BNC connector) and on each kind of Single mode and Multi mode optical fibres with a wide possibility of optional accessories.
The differences between HT5700B and HT5700P models are the more standard accessories of Premium version respect Basic version
